Akpeokhai James E
FCA, FCTI, CFA, MNIM
James Akpeokhai is the Managing Partner of the firm. He is a thoroughbred professional accountant. An accounting graduate, and a Master’s Degree holder of the University of Calabar. James is a Fellow of both the Institutes of Chartered Accountants of Nigeria (ICAN), the Chartered Institute of Taxation of Nigeria (CITN). He is a Certified Forensic Accountant; member of the Nigeria Institute of Management-Chartered, and the International Association of Anti-Money Laundry Specialists (ACAMS).
Utti Michael
B.Sc, MBA, CPA
Mike is a United States trained professional accountant with over 30 years practical experience. He had a First Degree in accounting, Masters in Business Administration and is also a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) – USA. Mike had worked for more than 20 years with the State of New York, USA as government auditor. He is now fully based in Nigeria and in practice with the firm of Jim Okhai & Co. (Chartered Accountants).
Hector Ekeocha
Ekeocha is a seasoned Internal Control and Risk Management expert, with proven management capabilities, vast academic background and profound experience. His expertise cuts across Risk-Based Auditing, Process Reviews, Fraud Investigation, Financial, Management and Group Accounting. He is a Chartered Accountant with over 17 years’ experience cutting across different industries including Oil & Gas, Manufacturing, Banking, Telecommunications and ICT.
Samuel Isekenegbe
ACA, ACCA
Mr. Samuel Isekenegbe is a renowned chartered accountant. He is a member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Nigeria (ICAN) and the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (ACCA), London. He was in the Nigerian Navy for over 10 years, where he served meritoriously before leaving to go into accounting practice. He later joined the firm of Jim Okhai & Co. (Chartered Accountants) as a partner.
Victor O. Ogbe
FCA
Victor, who is a Fellow of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Nigeria, is an Associate Partner of the firm. He was trained in the firm of Giwa-Osagie, DFK and Co. (Chartered Accountants). He grew to the position of Audit Senior before he left the firm after a decade of practical exposure. Within this period, he gained vast experience in Accounting, Auditing, Taxation, Secretarial Services and Financial Consulting. After his training, he joined commerce and industry where he headed the finance and administrative departments of companies in diverse industries in Nigeria, including, Manufacturing, Telecommunications, Engineering, Information Technology, to mention a few.
Omogbai Henrietta
BA (Hons), MBA, MA
Omogbai Henrietta is a staff consultant in the firm. She is a self starter and a thorough bred professional. She obtained a Bachelor of Arts (BA) Degree in English and Literary Studies, University of Calabar. In addition, she obtained Masters in Business Administration (MBA) from the Ambrose Ali University, Ekpoma in 2002 and another Masters Degree in Marketing (MA) from the London Metropolitan University, United Kingdom in 2004. She is also in her final stage of the ACCA professional examinations. Henrietta Omogbai’s working experience cuts across both the banking sector and other industries within and outside the country. She first started her carrier with Capital Bank Nigeria Ltd, now Access Bank Plc, where she rose to become Relationship Manager, Corporate Banking.
Gideon Goldmann
FCA, FCTI, CFA, MNIM
Gideon is a Partner with the firm. He has executed projects for the African Project Development Facility (APDF) of the International Finance Corporation (IFC) and worked directly with Alice Ouadraogo (2003). While with ABAS as their Regional Manager for Anglophone West Africa from 2001 to 2004, he managed several complex projects for numerous corporate clients in and outside Ghana (from SME Concept paper developments to Business Planning and Organizational Turnaround). Gideon has also been involved in Financial Strategy Development, Market Research & Market Entry Strategy development for companies like KRAFT UK, Gambia Enterprise Network, Procter and Gamble etc, and the conduct of Feasibility Studies for funding of Mega Projects (such as the Seaflex Salt Mine, Can & Caa, Brazz, AGOA-Government of Ghana, to name a few) towards successful fund raising for the company’s clients.
